With funding from National Lottery we have put together a programme of six online training sessions for migrant community organisations and migrant leaders. Sessions will provide training on: funding; governance; resilience for migrant communities; media engagement; research and evaluation; migrants and migration contexts. The capacity building training sessions aim to strengthen existing knowledge and expertise in order to increase migrant’s potential as effective advocates, leaders, partners and collaborators. Each two-hour, online session will be led by experienced trainers, tailored to the needs of migrant communities in Scotland and drawing on lived experiences of migration. The programme was designed with input from over 70 migrants and community organisations.
