One of the strengths of the policy laboratory is the opportunity it provides for peer to peer learning. Through the kickstart events participants learned about practices and processes in place in other parts of Scotland. The policy laboratory provides space and support to explore potential for adapting and adopting these models.
We are exploring the potential for adapting existing models for a ‘triage system’ currently supporting referrals and warm handovers between organisations in Glasgow, to see if it can be used by participants from Fife and Aberdeen. Scoping work is underway to establish the potential to develop pilots in these areas.
